Friends New Iguana

I had a 6 foot adult male. He hated men and would beat them with his massive tail. I wish I still had him, he could have helped me get rid of lots of bad boyfriends. But on a serious note, these get so large ...this animal is not simple to keep and getting a 10 gallon tank for it is ridiculous. Z trip already summed up a simple summary of iguanas. They started selling babies that size at the petco near me and I see them and get all googoo eyed again because I miss mine but I mean keeping a 6 foot long reptile ....they need such a big enclosure and fresh veggies and fruit which is expensive! ( coming from someone with 5 rabbits, 3 sulcata tortoise and 4 parrots ) Not to mention you need to replace the bulbs often and they are pricey, I could go on forever. bleh. Maybe she should have started off with like a leopard gecko or anole =/
