Sorry for being kind of harsh but there where 2 things working here:
First I dint know you where such a experienced herp keeper and assumed this was your first time whit herps
Second, that thing of "no beardys because everyone has them" fool me into thinking that you where looking for a animal to "show of" and not because you really cared about it. But you must understed that from time to time some people apear asking this same questions, both on my private life and on MFK that truly deserve the same coments I applyed to you. The last guy that deserved this was a guy at my LFS that likes to take its iguana to the beach on a leach
Putted simply it was nothing more than a missunderstud
Now given this new "data" I would say that a frilled dragon is a potencial very legimate choice for you. They are more or less a intermediate species,being more dificult than beginers species,say leopard geckos, and more easier than advanced species, say red headed basiliscks. Just remenbar that you must allow the lizard to come to you not force him into become tame. Also buy only captive bred ones. Given this I think you deserve a treat.
