Frisky oscar. Anybody elses oscar do this?

Yeah oscars are like that they even will fetch they play ball kind of hard to get them to rollover tho.
Cuz, when they see you they think it's feeding time. Ive kept oscar for 5 year's of my 13 year old life 
gotta love those oscars! mine does the wiggle dance when i come down to the basement and he sees me. he also loves to beg for food by cocking his head looking up "searching" for food... like he's saying "Come on woman! im starving to death here! Look at me wasting away!!!"

There is something you can do to try and prevent this. When you try to feed him and he acts crazy, close the lids and leave the room and don't feed him. And try again later. I tried this on my ofish I did this every morning and she would eventually ignore me, after a couple of trys a day. It took about 2 months before it worked on the first try, but it worked. She now will only go excited happy dance mode when I shake the bag. Its just something to try!
I've got 6 of these guys and love em' to pieces. Oscars made the difference to me between enjoying this hobby and falling head over heels in love with it. They're the reason I keep fish
