My buddy here at work has a huge yard and egress windows, so I do him the solid of frog removal, in turn I keep the frogs.
I did a good deal of research when I got into Wolves and frogs are a great source of nutrition for them. So I take flake food and gut load crickets, feed the crickets, worms, meal/super worms to the frogs, then the frogs go to the fish.
I think the cloudy eye is gone now. I think this was one of the smaller Armatus. The 2 smaller ones are having a bit of a tough time as right now they are the low guys on the predatory totem pole. Seems as the bigger Armatus gets feistier with the rest of the tank they seem to return the favor to the smaller Armatus.
As far as size I think the smaller ones are 11-12" The big guy is probably 14-15" and getting pretty thick. Attitudes getting bolder, but still seems to respect the Wolves.
I've thought about mice before as they are commonly fed to Wolves, but haven't tried it yet. The thought of a mouse biting a fish's eye is kind of bothersome, but I suppose if they're not having any trouble with full grown leopard frogs maybe they're big enough for some small rodents.
