That's the girlfriends friggin feet. Funny thing is it seems to make the fish madder then me. The Aimara gets crazy mad if he's up front and sees toes.

Maybe if the wolves weren't in there I'd try it, but I doubt an Armatus has any jaw strength compared to wolves.

They are what brought me here. My unicorn fish....lol Think I said that in my very first post.....

I just hope we solidify the reasons we seem to have so much trouble raising these impressive fish.

Krich, how old is yours? Has to be one of the oldest on the site..... You should tell us how you did it!

I've lost track actually but I have had it at least three years.It still goes on its periodic fasts and can be real pita sometimes but it is one of my most prized fish.

Sure,it's a rotation of frozen smelt,shrimp,and various fish filet...whatever is on sale when I'm at the market.I ocasionally give live sunfish that have been treated.

Do you stuff any of the fillets with any kind of pellets?

How big is that Armatus of yours these days anyways? What size of tank is it in?

Kudos for keeping one that long. I've never had one make it 2 years.
