Only in the northern warmer waters bro, like queensland and northern territory as far as i know.
Lates calcarifer can also be found in the warmer waters up north, i live in Melbourne where the weather is always ****

I thought this thread was already dead, but it's good to see it alive again. I love to be able to catch a jar in Aus ... but I'm sure I'd throw it back again cos of my attachment to my jar (and I normally don't practive catch-and-release to anything over 10cm)..
