found it on the web-is it fine gravel? Any idea of size? I had Tahitian Blue Moon sand but its too fine/light for the filter intlets and am looking for a new substrate and this looks good. Don't want the normal size gravel though

yep it's pretty fine and too heavy for my fx5 so can't see it being a problem with your filter.

yep the wood is floating, added a few more bits of wood that are sinking
