Nice, I'm at a half inch. Been that way for a couple of years but I like this gauge. Not too big not too small. I really don't care for anything larger. I have a friend who is at an inch and I think its too gody. I used to have my ears both pierced 5 times up the ear and 2 on each were gauged to 0 gauge, but removed the others to make room for my lobe. I also had my lip pierced but removed it for work, god I miss that piercing.
 
1/2" is a nice size i stayed there for a good year or so before moving on up. My real goal is somewhere between 3/4"-7/8". But I may stay at 5/8" I dont know yet, just have to see what life deals I suppose. Id love a lip piercing on each side(snake bites)...one day hopefully. I chose to get a septum piercing because atleast its hideable when it needs to be. I have the inner conches of my ears punched at 2ga and absolutly love them. Thats about it as far as above the neck stuff goes besides an industrial on one ear and a helix on the other. I used to have 3*verticle industrials in my right ear...kind of looked like a verticle = with a slash bar...but I had to take them out for work/school, I miss them tho.

My girfriend has her "snake bites" done. I never did care for the septum, unless you like looking like a bull. I have a friend who has his septum at a 0 or a 00 gauge. I don't remember really.
 
Septums are all about the jewelry, it can either look fabulous or ridiculous IMO. I dont like them with anything but the tiniest of jewelry...preferably a 1/4" pincher or septum retainer flipped down, very discrete even when down. My GF has a few random ear piercings, a side lip, 1/2" lobes, and 11 tattoos. We're kind of the local antichrists or something, since the area we live in is kind of redneck to the discription of another recent post in this forum :)
 
0 or 00 guage? That's huge!!!!!!
