i'm starting to notice that one of my fronts is swimming very oddly. it appears as ifhe's bobbing up and down as he moves along. usually graceful swimmers i can't help but think something is wrong. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance

might be starting to get bloat. they don't eat off the top of the water do they? this can cause problems in fronts.

i feed my fish Spectrum and yes they eat off the top. they won't give it time to sink.

fronts can have problems from taking in air when eating off the top. they usually come from depths of 50m. I would switch to a sinking pellet.

i'll try pre soaking.....i'd hate to lose a large front. thanks for the help, i hope it works. can bloat (if it's bloat) be treated?

I would stop feeding for a few days and leave the lights off. Food manufacturers say not to soak pellets cuz they lose some nutritional value. I use only sinking pellets for my fronts.
