Front tank mates?

my fish eat any snail that hit the tank.... I had some a few times and they never live... use a bristle noise pleco for that algae problem...

Toehead.... Do your cichlids eat the snails? I used mystery snails to cycle my tank way back when.. Now all I have is empty shells. I've tried to reintrduce snails to hopefully eat algae behind rocks on the glass. The minute they hit the water all my fish hammer them. It is cool to watch, but at the same time a pain.

my loaches bother them more than my cichlids. try feeding your fish really well for 2-3 days , add snails (bigger better) and continue feeding well for 2-3 more days and slowly cut back to your normal feeding regiment

snails and plecos are fine as long as pleco aint huge, i have 2 clown plecos in with my snails
