Hello im new and im dutch, so im sorry if my english isn't so good.
I have a questionto : to ask you guys im starting a frontosa tank and im thinking to set a arowanna with them .
But my frontosa arelike 7cm now i got 9 of them 2 malls and 7 femalls i got 2 scarlet pleco's and a motoro the biggest of the fish is now 10cm .
Now for my question: if i would get a arowanna of 7cm would it go good with the grow of the other fish .
or is a arowanna fasther with growing in size.:headbang2

definately agree that fronts look best as a huge group. they also dont do well with fast, hyper fish... as much as i love aro's i wouldnt put one with fronts..

hello everybody im pretty new to this site and im filled with all kinds of questions my first one is i currently have 7 frontosa(all from different stores) the biggest is about 4 inches i have them in a 60 gallon right now but july 7th my birthday im getting either a 125 or 210 fish tank would a 125 be big enough for 7 fronts? next qustion is it possible if i get the 210 to mix on a baby arowana with my fronts? or will there be aggression issues? thanks all - anthony

210 would definitely be better in the long run. One question though, why aro, you're in the states and the most you can get is black, silver or Jardini, all of them pretty much under the price of one good Zaire blue, and all of them pretty much capable of tearing your fronts to pieces.

Why not go natural, a setup around your fronts, something like mine, 22 Kitumbas and 2 Boulengerochromis (400gal)

I have 9 moba, 2 tigrinus , and a jardini arowana in a 240 gal. They seem to be doing good as long as fronts are bigger then aro. just make sure all of them are able to eat when you feed. The only problem i got is the 2 tigrinus. they fight each other all the time but they don't bother the other fishes. I think you should get the 210 gal cuz its easier to maintain when you have a community of fishes.

Where are the pictures of that setup. Mobas and Tigs ...eh, Jardini on top, ewwww!

Bad ****ing ass...i made a post awhile back on pretty much the exact same combo. Arrow, Frontis, albino oscars, and a stingray, and it was met with a lot of hostility. I generally speaking do not mix animals that would not mix in the wild...but those color combinations I just find too awesome. So im glad to see someone on heres done it. :D
