frontosa breeding

i just wondering how can i breed my frontosas, i have 5 of them i think 2 male and 3 female, they from 5" to 8" , i wanna breed them , how can i make them breed,? right now they all ine one tank, should i set up another tank for just breeding?

Let em pair off on their own. They're likely to spawn in the main tank. You can leave the fry with their parents or move to a growout tank.

Frontosa do NOT pair off. One male (usually the alpha) will mate with a group of females.

i have tried everything to get my fronts to breed im at my last try and its with the ph im going to try them at a 8.2-8.5 and see what type of results i get good luck with yours

Do a large 60% water change. My frontosas always seem to breed after the change.

What temp. do you have your tank?

i dont think they can breed at that size... i thought they need to be at 10-16 inches before anything...
