Frontosa Help!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I only have the big one left. I got rid of the others and put some tangs in with him. So far so good, however if he starts eating little $30 fish, i will sell him. I'll let you know.

You just never know with fish. It's ok though. I like the look of the big front just hovering around with the smaller fish.

I'd be cautious with adding smaller tangs. There aren't many that you can keep with such a large front. Frontosa are optimistic feeders. They will get a long for months, even yrs, and you'll grow attached to em then the next day they are gone. Another problem is that some tangs such as daffodils, brichardi, and leileupi are much more aggressive than frontosa. If they start to breed they will harass frontosa. maybe pick his eyes out.

I'll just take it day by day. I've seen stranger tankmates get along. Anyways they look good together!

I feel ya! I only have 4 tanks/pond, but I have about 20 other pets!! I'm Full even in a 4 bedroom house with just me and my wife.

And the next tank I get will be 6 foot or longer!
