Thanks

wrong forum they are African

really, i thought they get pretty big so i thought they would be A.C. or A.S thanks, what else you got

I don't know a whole lot about them but I've heard they are fairly timid and can get bullied by more aggressive fish.

No sha...darn, all the pics ive seen of them tehre huge, nice bump on the head.

Yes they do get larger then alot of africans will and they do have a nice bump, but they are timid like. They are very docile and not very agressive. They eat a large variety of meaty foods but its good to mix it up with veggies every now and then because they will/can get bloat (I had that problem before). You should have a tank of 120+gallons to house these and they like to stay in colonys. Sand substrate is good with some rocks. They are also slow growers.

When you say colonys i should by another one, and how long do they take to grow

Cyphotilapia frontosa

They will eat almost anything. They are primarily meat eaters so that should be considered when planning their diets.

They are found in the deep waters of Lake Tanganyika at depths up to and even beyond 100 feet. Frontosas are a large cichlid with males growing from 14 to 16 inches long and females from 9 to 12 inches long.

This is very good take a look

I've got a "colony" of 8 at the moment. They are docile and kind of skiddish. Totally awesome looking though. Make sure each one that you have has a hiding spot.

They grow slow too.

Are they easy to sex, didnt erally read that so if i have a 125 i'll be fine with 2 as long as they have a partner i think they should be fine
