Frontosa owners

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i feed my kitumba NLS thera a for a staple and i give them treats of frozen krill and prawns twice a week. great growth and color.

New Life Spectrum Large Fish formula is the staple.

Occasionally large mysis shrimp, krill, whole silversides and 'dice-sized' chopped raw shimp.

We have been giving ours a varied diet of nls.frozen scuds and some home made food that contains alot of green veggies they seem to love all of it.

Mine get freeze dried krill, shrimp pellets and NLS pellets as main source... sometimes I throw in other stuff too... depends on what I have around.

Didnt catch it but, are your frontosa WC? if you got them at your lfs, did you ask what they have been eating? Generally tank raised will accept almost any prepared food. That being said a carnivorous diet with some veggies mixed it generally is what you need. im a big omega one fan for dry foods at least...

NLS Thera+A, NLS Color Enhancer, OSI Spirulina Pellets, Omega One Super Color Pellets, Blood Worms, M-Shrimp, Beef Heart, Krill, Lettuce.

Bettas on Holidays...

125g Dozen Burundi / 300g Dozen Mpimbwe

I take a pinch of tetramin pro, hold it underwater, and release. It sinks, and they seem to prefer it over pellets.
