wow, nice tanks and fronts. I think they are so cute when they are small like that. The adults are good looking fronts too. Love the finnage.

Thanks Cichlidgirl. I am truely amazed how many beatiful fronts/gibs there are on MFK. I'm glad I found this site.

Your welcome. I like it here too. I noticed there are alot of new front keepers and alot of new interest here for fronts. Thats why i think a sub forum would be really good for frontosa. Especially since it appears that Cyphos.com might be gone for good. Its sad for them but opens up the playing field for other sites to fill the gap.

Here's a good view of the regional differences inherent in various front varients. The darker upper front is a (WC) Samazi and the lighter lower fronts are (WC) Maswa,

Thank you so much for this information and pictures ..

Thats some good info Liz. Pics (I know they are coming LOL) will go good with that list . Did you arrange that list in any specific order or can we list the different regions variants in order of availability or most commonly kept ? The ones a hobbyist is most likely to encounter followed by the more rarer forms ? I know they often change but I have noticed that there are certain variants for example : Moba, mpimbwe, burundi etc. that are much more common for the new hobbiest. Some of those variants listed are very rare or have gone out of fashion and its much less likely the hobbiest would be obtaining them etc...
