Thanks guys, they are soon becoming my favorites already - the biggest one (named Big Daddy by my nephew lol) has a big appetite and is already starting to beg me for food when I'm near the tank. I need to go find the stickies on Fronts and read up on the different types..
The larger one looks like a zaire and a male, the other looks like a burundi type, most front keepers only keep one type of front to keep from cross breeding. If you plan on breeding this is important, and welcome to the addiction. My Moba fronts are my favorite
Here's a pic of all 3 of them, not the best pic - really need to get a better camera other than my phone. According to the guy I bought them from they were all from the same parents and he'd had them since they were fry. He didn't know the variant just that they were frontosa, but the smaller one looks different to me as well. Hadn't planned to breed them, but if I got some decent pairs wouldn't rule it out in the future - there are just the 3 of them in a 150 right now, 72x18x28 footprint. I"d like to get a couple more down the road, kind of hard to find decent size ones in my area that's why I snapped these up. Changed the background to dark blue one and it really seems to bring out their blues.
