Frontosa with Central American Cichlids

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I just bought 10x 1.5-2" flowerhorns from Thailand that I'm going to grow out in a 90 and I have a shot at 10x 1.5-2" f1 frontoasas for $35. I was thinking of getting them and throwing them in the 90. pH has nothing to do with my choice. I'm just worried about the new worlds out growing the old worlds and killing them because I know they are far more aggressive. But.. there's a auction coming up in a month that I would be able to sell the fronts at if things got ugly.

there should be no aggression issues if kept with other more peacful cichlids. Frontosas arent very aggressive. in a large enough tank it should work :)

It can be done, but should be mixed with ca cichlids that are not too aggressive...so go with some of the more placid types (that are too big to be eaten).
