Uber rare are the albino ones. There are pics somewhere around here on MFK....

only one time i have seen a photo of them
i think it was a fishermans holding one..it was al white and looks almost like if the front was dead or sick..maby it was stress..who know...but nothing is over a ''normal'' front. :headbang2

they will be intresting to look at..but no mor beutifull than a blue/black/white one...;)
 
well the ''red'' front is more like a brown coloration..it's like when the are ''overbreed'' and have a huge mark of mooning almost like an ''H''.. so its probable a very very low quality strain..
and the breeder that has the black widows claims they are from a secret location in tanganyika and they arent mutations or something else..but who knows..the are in bussines of rare fish were the monye its all about
 
Actually the person at Airfish, does not claim they are found in the lake.
He simply says they are linebred and rare.
he claims they are not hybrid, which perhaps they are not.

Don't need to cross species lines, or collection points for that matter to get the occasional bad stripe.
Then you just linebreed from there.
