that is one sweet tank... what does it look like without photoshop?

Its Rallysman' tank. He didn't photoshop it, I asked him how he got it to look like that, its actually kinda simple and i've tried it with my butti tank and it looks a good deal like this (I have black painted backs)

This is what he told me..

"Thanks man!

All I do to get that look is use a 6700k T8 light moved to the front of the tank. I bent the reflector to keep a little more light to the front of the tank. It makes it look a bit deeper."



Again... I tried this on my 40g breeder with a butti and black back. I have two CF 65w 36" lights and the way it looks now, if I had a single, lower wattage bulb im pretty sure I could replicate this, and if my tank was 24" wide this look would be easy (id paint the sides of the tank black as well to let as little light in as possible.

well if it is rallysman, then I have seen it... just last night...you are right it is not photo shop, it is technique with the flashes for the camera. I have seen it in person, the fish are great and the tanks is great...mine will look like that soon as well...

Ic. id imagine it looks much like that in person, maybe not quite so black in the back. Like I said i've got mine to look a bit similar but its hard because my tank isn't as wide and I have much, much more light over it (Lighting for a planted tank)

can you tell me what second it shows frontosa?

There is the part where the straelini is eating the scales off of the tretocephalus.

both straelini and trets are silver with black stripes.
just wondering if i missed something or if i have a different version.

Actually that might be the part I recall, I haven't seen it in a LONG time... I've had the Documentary since it was new, and had it put from VHS to a DVD about a month ago, thats the only reason I remembered about it and was able to bring it up.


I should watch it >.>
