Guys im planning to build a 90 gal frontosa tank..how many fronts i need to make a community on it and how to handle it suggestions and comments are accepted..

whats the foot print is it a 90 tall? Have seen 90's with 4 or 5 cause they get big like foot long but they chill fish so some people put a **** ton. If you go by inch of fish per gallon cause they do grow slow, im a say that 4-7 sounds just about right.

Those fronts will be cramped in a 90g.
Like said 6ft tank is needed

at all depends on how big the frontosas you are getting. if you have the standard footprint on your 90 gallon tank. for frys. 20 of them you can put as many you want. for fronts 4-6 inches maybe max of 8. for adults size only a trio.

but if you wanna start a good size colony a 6 footer 125-135 gals tank is good for a 2m/ 4-5 females. a 6 footer 180gal could have 2m/6f ratio.

a 6 footer tank is perfect for them. they need a lot of swimming space and less aggressive compare to smaller tanks.
in other words the bigger/longer/wider the tank the better for these fronts.

water condition: hard, high ph 8.0
temp: 78-80 degress
food: fry - sinking 1mm nls or cichlid pellets , spirulina flakes if too small
adults- sinking 3mm nls or cichlid pellets.

you can do more research about frontosas :

frontosas are a bit expensive depending on what kind. so it also depends on how much your budget will be.
frontosas are very nice majestic fishes. you will love them as many of us fish hobbyist do.
good luck bro...
