Several months back I purchased a Frontosa for my large tank and he is bullying my other fish especially the Tinfoil Barbs. We moved him to his own tank but we had to make changes so we moved him back to the 125 gallon tank. He continues to nudge and chase the other fish in the tank especially the Tinfoil Barbs. Should I keep the Frontosa by himself? Any ideas?

125 gallon
3 Tinfoil Barbs
1 Pleco
1 Choc Cichlids and 2 other Cichlids (Don't have the names handy)
2 other fish (3" long each) (Don't have the names handy)

I'm not an expert on either fish, but do they not have quite different water parameters as to make them an unlikely combination as is?

Depending on the severity of chasing would dictate the way I'd approach it. If it was occasional mild chasing I'd be tempted to leave it, but if its concentrated chasing happening all the time; i'd be looking at moving either your barbs or frontosa, depending on whichever you prefer.

Frontosa tend to be kept in groups, which could also account for the behaviour.
