PBass can live and breed in waters with high pH values. The Florida populations are in high alkaline 8.0 pH averages.
I think there would be a problem with the live foods normally fed to PBass. Fronts are susceptible to bloat and all that would be needed is to drop one infected minnow into the tank to start a wipeout of the fronts.
Another restriction is the water's salt content. While PBass can tolerate brackish conditions, that salt is sodium chloride. Fronts, on the other hand, evolved in waters high in calcium chloride salts.
IMO, to keep both species at peak health, behavior, and color, they should be in setups amenable to their natural conditions.
