Frontosas questions

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It took my frontosa about a year to grow from 1in to 4in.

Thats what mine is but I have never heard of them growing faster than any of they other fronts. Where did you hear this at I'm just curious.

i keep both moba and mpimbwe frontosa and would recomend mpimbwe's if you can find them.wild caught are hard to find but f1's are available.beautiful blue color and very friendly! good luck

For Beautiful Personality... go with Mpimbwe

For Beautiful Colorations... go with Moba, Kapampa, kitumba

For Big Forehead hump ... go with burundi :)

I have located about 6 Brundis Fronts - I would love to find some tank mates that are a good match...

I would love to see some pictures because I dont know the scientific names yet, or what they look like..

A good mild mannered catfish and something like a yellow Lab (if labs are friendly enough)

The fronts I found are about 3" - 4" is it to early for tank mates?

Besides having a high PH - are there any salt requirements? or best temperatures to watchout for?

I don't know if I would use any of the malawi cichlids in with fronts. I found that some neolamprologus sexfaciatus were a good mix. They come from the same lake and would make up for not having the yellow labs.
