frontosa's?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It's a female Cyprichromis Leptosoma Kalambo. I had 6 old females that I needed to move out of a tank to make way for a new group. Cyps are the natural diet for Frontosa, but some people have kept them with tank raised Fronts successfully. I figured they would either live together, or the Cyps would die of "natural" causes. :headbang2

My tank raised Fronts loved the Cyps....for dinner.

I keep 3 Frontosas with 19 other mixed Africans in a 125 US Gal. tank. No problems with any of the other fish. I have Malawi and Tangs mixed, including a female Nimbocromus Livingstoni, 1 male and 2 female Dimidiochromis Compressiceps, and other assorted Africans. The Frontosas are all about 5" long, but all of the fish were small when I got them, and have grown up togther.
