The way they portayed it was rediculous.

when the media writes about raids like this, I would not be surprised if they counted every single feeder mouse/rat as a dead animal so that they can say "more than half the animals in his house were dead". This has always worried me because they really don't have to have a reason to raid your house and take your animals.

Right now I am thinking that they are trying to smear this guy with an ad hominen argument buy saying "this man abuses animals, why wouldn't he abuse a woman?" despite the facts of the case. It's total BS.

Hi all, I live in WI and have been follwing this case. First of I am a very firm believer in "innocent until proven guilty" but his home was raided as he is a suspect in a sexual abuse case so it has nothing to do with the reptiles. I know the news can blow things way out of proportion but aftyer seeing the videos I am disgusted. I have had snakes, lizards, fish and now turtles but the conditions he kept these animals in was bad. One of the storage units had no heat or electricity which you know how bad that is for herps. Most of the anmials have been distributed to many local zoos. Watch the video on this article:

Seeing the cages and that tortise in a tupperware box makes me sick. And they were all in bad conditions not just some. Here are all the news events following the case:

http://www.todaystmj4.com/results?k...ear=2010&children=true&submit.x=59&submit.y=7

and yes some are a little over the top but when you have zoo officials making these comments you have to believe they are accurate. This is my first post but I have been a lurker for years but I just wanted to make sure all the facts got out so everyone can make an honest opinion of the situation.

wow, I guess it is pretty bad then. Up until now all I have seen are good reviews on this guy and a story that seemed to be wildly inaccurate. Thanks for sharing. It is pretty disturbing then and I am glad that he had the animals removed.

I figured this was coming with it being my first post but I just wanted to give the details I knew from watching my local news. If you check the links you will see nothing I said is false but everyone can make thier own opinion but don't think I am trying to be shady, it's not my thing. I just saw a lot of posts about how the news was to blame in this situation but I wanted to give everyone the details. As you can see by the number of news stories on the link I posted it has been on the news for several weeks here in WI.
