Just wondering if there would be any issue using frozen food(Omega One cichlid formula) as a staple. Other than the gel binder there seems to be no filler.

As a staple, this would get pretty expensive, unless you're only feeding a couple of small fishes......or you just happen to have money to burn

Shouldn't be an issue with that, its the same ingredient make-up as pelletized food right? I use homemade gel food for my fish with no issues, but granted I'm not feeding cichlids.

Nutrition wise there is no issue, just keep in mind that due to the water content (77%) in this formula ounce for ounce it will not be nearly as nutrient dense as most dry foods.
