Frozen food danger?

Can frozen food carry parasites or cause ich? Because last night I fed my fish a mix of hikari frozen krill and San Fransico bay brand plankton. And now they are scratching themselves on the decor and one of my blood parrots appears to have dots on its tailfin. I turned up the temp as a precaution and no other fish has the dots I would have expected my ich sensitive catfish to be the first to show signs if it was ich but everyone's all good. Any advise or knowledge on the frozen food thing would be helpful. Kinda freaking out a little

Hopefully, you thawed the frozen foods first. At any rate, check your tanks temp/heaters.

you are probably fine. Do you warm up the food to the the tank temp first? (i.e. soak in a cup of tank water?)

I never thaw my frozen bloodworms before feeding. I just drop the cubes in. Why must you thaw them?

Unlike us, fish do not maintain their internal temperature...imagine what something icy would do...

Probably a coincidence was this the first time you fed this to your fish.

Yea I thaw it out first and tank params where good yesterday. I will recheck in a while. This was the first time I fed them this particular mix on the package it said it can be fed to freshwater fish as well
