There is more than 1 type of krill, and depending on when in the season they are harvested can also vary the nutrient profile. Probably the most expensive is Antarctic krill (Euphausia superba), then Pacific krill (E. pacifica) and there is also Northern krill (M. norvegica).

If one is comparing frozen vs freeze dried on an ounce by ounce basis, then yes, an ounce of freeze dried will be more nutrient dense than frozen, because the latter mostly consists of water. Water being a non nutrient, it adds nothing more than softness (palatability to the fish) and perhaps somewhat aids in digestion. This is why a high quality dry pellet food can be so nutrient dense, most are under 10% in moisture content.
