Pair of blood pythons I recently bought, the female is around 3 foot, male a little smaller. They are on live for now but going to try transition asap.

I need to get some better pics of them.

Do your research - Go with a company that doesn't buy lab surplus, like one BIG distributor does that's already been mentioned.........

The information is out there.......Most ship Overnight or 2nd day......Some may even be able to use freight forwarders which is the cheapest route, but that depends on the logistics involved.......

hey Otolith, just saying that in my experience buying 20-30 rodents is not worth it because of the shipping, it's usually best to buy quite a bit more, otherwise it's a real ripoff.

Hmmm, I only have the two snakes to feed tho. What's the storage time on a frozen rat lol?

Up to a year, seal them extremely well and they can go for longer.

I tried RodentPro but in the end I don't think the savings are worth it, unless I bought an entire freezer load of rats. The shipping is high and it offsets the savings. If you are just going to get 20-30 rats like myself this is what i do now.

I call up my local herp store and ask for a quantity discount. They will give me certain fix price based on how much I buy. In the end the price is about the same as I would pay going with RodentPro per rat, except I don't end up with a freezer full of them.
