frt and rays

you can mate them as well you have a big side and feed FRT goods , when they not hunrry it wont go after nip the on the ray

Where in the uk are you based, they have pig nosed turtles in a 10x10 display tank at maidenhead aquatics in iver.

They also have pig-nosed turtles at Wall St. and 42nd

Most people have no problems however there has been stories of rays drowning small FRTs and then stories of FRTs taking chunks out of rays.... so its really up to tempermant. I would make sure your FRT is bigger than the ray

I don't know how ray can drown small FRT, consider FRT is an aquatic turtle. However, I have no doubt if FRT take a chunk of out ray. My FRT can take a good chunk out of mackerel that I feed my barramundi

Frt is an aquatic turtle but it has to come up for air and the ray if its large enough can and will hold the turtle down for longer then it can and then it can't go up for air.

i also expect a turtle could easily die as a result of rays trying to eat it rather than the rays killing it directly [fungus / wound problems etc]. still, thanks to t1 and skynoch for their first hand eperience. very much appreciated. for the sake of all involved ill be giving this combo a miss ;]
