Mine loves those sinking pleco pelletes...eats them by the shovel.

also likes a kiwi and an apple, now and then, but you must pay atention it doesn't stay long in the water ( the fruit, I mean )

Mine also loves fish, regrettably, as all other animal protein it happens to catch....
Your diet its ok Miguel as pleco pellets are low in protein and high in fiber, so that would be a good staple. The only main thing that really is missing here is thouse dark leafy vegetables;). Here´s some owesame choise greens that are easily avaliable in a grocery store near you: turnip greens (nabiça), mustard greens(mais ou menos equivalente a cove portugesa), water cress(agrião de agua) and chicory greens(chicoria, não uses as follas brancas de dentro):D If she doesant eat rigth away let them stay in the water, they wont spoil the water rigth away. Also try some mango ,grapes and such;)

so jus feeding it kiwi/apple/banana etc is a good enough diet? maybe lettuce here n there...

All thouse fruits should be only ocasinal treats. I will say it again:grinno: Dont ask me were I get the pacience do do this:D Your turtle Needs: high calcium and fiber leafy vegetables wich excludes both letuce and spinach(consult my reply to Miguel for a good list of greens) and high calcium and fiber fruits like mango and papaya to make at least 50% of its diet now if its supossed to grow healty(this percentage of food will increase to 70% once she is adult, remenbar this turts in the wild are mainly herbivors, give preference to veggis and only give fruit more ocasionaly;))
Also as sorce of protein and as a staple you can use a good quality pellet like Mazuri turtle and tortoise food, pleco pellets, hikari, reptomin ,etc along side other meaty fare:D
anyway miguel do u use a UV light for your Fly river?? i was thinking of buying a reptisun 5.0 bulb and putting it in my aquarium light. that'll work right?
That will work just fine:D Make shure there is no glass or plastic in the midle and replace every 7moths or so. The need for turts of uv ligth is a controversial one. Thosands of healty turts have been raised without uv but its without a doubt a really beneficial thing you do for your turle. Do it at least untill she is bigger.
or...buying one of those UV light that you put upside down on...like those for tortosie n whatnot.. if i place one of that on top of an acrylic tank will it burn the acrylic?
Dont know that:confused: but dont buy compact ligths or 10.0ligths, to strong:D

so i have to replace the bulb in the aquarium light or am i attaching a whole nother set of light next to it???? like those dome lamps?
