ok i told my buddy all the info and he wants to go ahead and get paper work. well he wants to open a pet store some day i guess. anyway he went on the cites page but he said he dosnt know how or where to go on there to get paper work or find out how much. i told him if he gets paper work he will need to then haft to find an importer. i think its all to much touble but he wants to do it. anyone here can u tell me how he can get the papers or how much money he will be looking at spending so i can tell him. thanks everyone

CITES has no paperwork to issue. I already stated that Indonesia issues the export permits that allow the shipping of FRTs from their country. Those permits are only issued to sanctioned FRT hatchery farms.
Your friend can't get any paperwork issued to him. He has to find a sanctioned hatchery and have that business owner/manager apply for the permits from the Indonesian government. The permit application also requires a "ship to" legal business name with importer's license number. So, your friend needs to either have a licensed wildlife importer standing by and agreeing to receive the shipment or, your friend will be required to start an animal husbandry-related business, apply and receive an importers license based on that legal business address (and resale tax number) before finding an Indonesian exporter that has to apply for the export permits.

ya its not me. my buddy is on his own now. thanks for all the info on the paper work, sorry i missed it in the other thread. i new it was hard to get them but not that hard. i think after i tell my buddy, he might give up, i hope he does bc thats a lot of work. wowfishnthings said:
