Haha that $15k almost gave me a heart attack.. I think it would be worth the risk, of course purchasing them off someone who needs to rehome them rather than the "smugglers"

Of the people who I have seen post (I think there are a lot who don't say anything) where this didn't work, they never had the chance to separate. Woke up to a dead ray out of the blue type thing. I would love to keep an FRT but am not willing to risk any of my rays to do it.

I've also seen people on YouTube keep them with rays. But I guess it's the same like puffers with other tank mates, fine for some time then boom shreds their tank mates

I saw one in my lfs a few years ago. Someone traded it in and they wanted $1900 for it. It was sold pretty fast.
