i have had her for about 4 years. she started off in a 20gal. then i broke down my 180 salt and she has been in there for about 3.5 years with all different types of fish

whats your water like meaning ph etc..? mine is in 7.5 water at 86 degrees

ph 7.5 and water temp around 78 to 80

nice crushed coral or sand or both

i used sand because when she was small she used to bury herself but now she kind of hangs on an artificial plant near the top under a uv reptile bulb. so now i dont think it would really matter either way

i wanted to add cichlid sand to my sand to bring the ph just a lil higher for him what do u think like 2 20 lb bags to the rest of my tank

yea that would do it. i found the higher the ph the better they do. the higher ph is closer to their natural habitat as is the sand on the bottom
