This is the best thread ever.......... wow that arow is so huge... and keep us going with this please.... all the way until the babies are here.... oh those arows are gorgeous.

awesome pix, Koji!! You are getting the hang of it, increasingly! Is it me or the red's are wilder than the golden?

Wow, that looks great...Though I wonder why I've never heard of anyone breeding arowana at home? Is it that they require a lot more room, or is it simply because there's a trade secret to getting them to breed in captivity?

You need PLENTY of room.....a large pond netted off like Koji has there......I see multiple set ups in these pix.......Also, you need to have a pack of aro's to begin with.....then you need to study them and see which ones pair off.....then you need to give them enough room, food and comfort to breed...which your fish also need to be mature enough to mate. Just plenty of steps, space and money envolved......As Koji said.....it's his job as a breeder/hobby/vender/import/exporter. They actually have a few breeders here on the other side of the island (big Island) Hawaii.....They are breeding reds that I know about......anyhow, Hawaii State Agricultural gave them a permit for scientific studies/breedind/and trying to get the numbers up so they would not be an endagered species and eventually...possibley for future sale in the US.

Wow, what beautiful Aros. The coloration is amazing.

Also, Lol @ the sixth picture from the bottom. It would make a great "Fail" pic. :D
