Fruits and veggies for snappers

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have a big pond but unfortunately we also have a very large hawk population and I won't risk it. I almost lost a 4 month old puppy to one and won't take that chance again. He'll go in a 10'L x 5'W x 3'H when he out grows the 150. We set up a special account for him the week we got him and $50 a check gets direct deposited for the future build. It's so nice when the spouse enjoys something you love.

Thats absolutely the best story i have heard in a long time..you made me get a teary face............. just refreshing to hear about people dedicated to their pets... keep us updated on Rocky....when you post up pics let me know.

It's funny. I brought him home a few years ago and my wife freaked, and I mean freaked. She knew what type of turtle it was and what it would need to keep for life. I caught hell. Now when she comes home from work she will walk straight pass me and not even say hello to go see "her turtle". I think she would get rid of me before "her Rocky".

Thats funny! I can see that happening a lot to people.
As for turts/torts I think the snapper is my least fave :(

And as for the cherry tomatoes, I researched and found nothing bad about them. But yes keep as a treat to be safe.
