I've considered it, but again, availability, I live very remote. Right now the first Aro I see I'll probably snag. Or I'll have a moment of craziness and get online with my credit card and start buying Aro's!! www.riverwonders.com has some Blacks (thanks Wyldfya) and some killer Rays, one Ray is $900, they have pics of all the different rays.

O btw, Hes eating anything you put in the tank. Flakes,chichlid pellets, arowana sticks, shrimp,feeders,worms.

Id go with a black or Jar. Just somthing different.

Around here every lfs has silvers and Jars.

Personally, I'd get the black one now, and then when the silver arrives at the lfs, I'd get that one too...But I'd also like to have one of each...eventually...

I would just be patient and wait for the silver to come in. I think silver arowanas look better any way. They look more prehistoric.

especially with arowana, it might be a 30 year commitment so dont rush it. you will find the perfect specimen.
