I love having convicts but with convicts comes fry, but i like them to breed b/c i like to watch their behavior but i was wondering what can i do with the fry, what will eat them. I hava a Pink Tailed Charcin, and RBP and a Walking Catfish that might eat the fry i guess. The stores wont take them.

they should all take the fry. You can always give the very best fry away and use the rest for feeders

nah, he had it right the first time.
just about any type of medium sized catfish should eat them, but you wouldn't be able to keep the catfish in with the cons unless the tank is 55 gallons or larger, and I definitely wouldn't recommend keeping a catfish with the pirhanas. 
I specifically setup a 15g tank to breed convicts to feed my other fish. The Dovii just love a snack 
. Since I am growing the feeders here I know what conditions they are raised in and that they do not have diseases to be concerned about. My wife is not crazy about the idea, but then she will get used to it. Certainly it is a personal choice whether you feed cichlids to cichlids, but I figure it happens in nature so why not in my aquariums.

Certainly it is a personal choice whether you feed cichlids to cichlids, but I figure it happens in nature so why not in my aquariums.The way I see it, anything that you need to cull back from your breeding should be fed to your other fish rather than take that porcelain log ride. It's hard to find someone to take cons unless you just happen to have a remarkably beautiful pair. Take any that you like and keep them aside, the rest just feed. It's a moral dilemna I know, I hate doing it with my cichlids (guppies. . . who cares) but it's better than flushing them b/c you have too many.
