Fry helppppp

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I start my fry out on microworms, Spectrum small fry starter, frozen bbs or crushed flake.
Some java moss. Once they are free swimming, They don't need the parents.
Bare bottom is best, And I throw in a large apple snail, To help keep it clean
Remove any uneaten food on a regular basis
Water changes, To keep the growth rate up.
A mild preventative for velvet.
And cull them as soon as I can be sure of the results

I am trying to seperate the ebjd and bg but cant tell the difference

I have a tiny food processor, I take frozen peas, a few pellets and puree them in tank water, and shoot them into the school of fry.
in nature most fry constantly graze on algae, the peas seem close. It has worked with everything from haitiensus and Viejas, to grammodes.

I like this idea. I'm going to try this on my next batch.:D
