sorry for the late reply...i have not been in this section for a while...the aros ate a few...they ate a few and now i have 1 left...it is growing like a weed and eatting well...

100% smallie

i just wonder if that kinda death rate is norm for the fry at that size as i don't see any more fry there...

Smb are cool, hope the aros don't eat it, think you will get any more?

i think this one is good as it is big enough now to avoid being eatten and the aros don't give it any att. any more... i know i have access to tons and tons of smallies from fry to well over 20"...idk if i will take anymore from this spot as i love to catch them there...i may in the future if i get everything figured out for permits be a vender of natives and others as i can get everything native at all sizes with gar and lotas lotas as the only exceptions...

Can i have a smallie? :) Its real hard to find smallies where im from.

1) i only have one left and i want to keep it...i may sell it down the line, but something about watching it go from a little splook of a thing into this nice looking mini smallie has me not so eagger to sell...

2) i don't have any permits yet to sell native gamefish so i don't want to risk any future possibilities on selling this bass...

3) when i do get all the permits in line i will have to see if they are legal in buyers states (i think they are not in ca) as i am not going to risk myself and my stuff on a little cash from a fish...even if it is to help someone get a fish they have always wanted...

Awhh, only 1? Your aro eat the rest? :( I say save that smallie!

Well its all good then. I think its illegal to sell any native gamefish in cali. lol So its cool, i was just playing with "can i have one". I dont want any of us to get in big trouble by the fish & game dept. haha Show us some picture of him bro!

U shud definitely get ur permits to sell some i would definitely take some smb!!

I just seined a under 1" smb today. I am on a collecting permit so it is cool.

That fish is 100% smb for sure. But you already know that.

I should look into getting permitted for selling fish...I dont think I would be able to sell game fish anyways, but it might be worth looking into.

I know exactly how it feels to have a fish from the time its little. The only reason I decided to take my smb home was cause I thought it was cool because it was so little. I dont like buying big fish, and so this was my first chance to really raise a native from fry-hood. :D Super excited about mine, post pictures of yours!
