Well my guppy gave birth. After I took her, the cherry barbs, and otocinlus out I only had my baby guppies, or so I thought. I see these blackish little fry which I'm positive aren't guppies. I'm pretty sure they're are not otocinlus either as you would expect them to be on the glass, but they don't look much like cherries either though. They are smaller than the guppy fry.

Could anyone with experience ID these little ones. Best pictures I could get.

1st - guppy fry
2nd -mystery fry from afar
3rd - mystery fry close-up

Either otos or cherry barbs.

All in all there was 4 cherrys (1 male, 3 females) 2 otos , and the pregnant guppy who gave birth. All got removed after delivery.

Now I have 7 guppy fry, and these little ones.

Yup, I'm gonna have to say guppy as well. They just look like they're at different points of growth. It's amazing how differently fry can look 1/8" apart... Some of my corys look like different fish comparing the biggest and the smallest ones.

A closer inspection and they are everywhere, at least 15 in the tank. The black gravel helps them camouflage.

I really hope they are cherrys, love the little guys. Plus my only male has the best red I've ever seen, I'd love to see his sons.

Cherry shrimp babies look like little cherry shrimp... I'd bet money whatever is in those pictures are not cherry shrimp.

Edit: why did I read cherry shrimp? Haha.

OK, cherry BARBS... well, barbs aren't livebearers, so did you notice spawning and eggs?
