Too bad shipping's an arm and a leg..... This is one catfish I would actaully own. How big do these things get in captivity?

Dont know. I have read they get up to 22" in the wild
So Im ganna throw a wild guess at 18" or so.

Man, it hurts to let go a fish that you like and had since he was under6"...... but I need to make space

WOW, I know I read on Planetcatfish... that they get just a hair smaller than Tigs and I thought it said 22".... but Sweet!!!! Ahhh, which to go... the pretty color cat or the "fierce feeder chopping in front of you Wolf"
