We're selling it because we are downsizing the shop. For the last 4 years we've done both freshwater and saltwater, but we're eliminating freshwater livestock sales and giving up some square footage. The tank is saltwater, but it's a display (we don't sell from it).. when I go to less floor space, I have no place to put it.
It's been a fun tank and a good drawing card, but I just don't have the space for it anymore. It will be up and running until it's sold. The fish are our pets, and I'm sad to have to part with them, but for practical purposes, we need to find a new home for the whole ensemble.
Someone contacted me about buying just the fish, but it's unfair to put them into a small tank (the person wanted to put them in a 90 - heck the grouper wouldn't be able to turn around in that!)
I've had a couple of inquiries this morning - here and from Craig's List where it's also listed. I did have one offer from this board, but the gentleman's other half vetoed the purchase...
There's a home out there for it - I just need to find it.
