just curious how are the oriental arrow reglated and also why are they regulated since they are now raised in captivity?
does having the cert mean they are legal to buy/own here?

You guys are rediculous. The ASIAN ARROW is probly the most restricked fish in the united states. You get caught and you will be sitting with bubba for sometime.... THEY ARE BANNED FROM THE USA! Reason- They are endangered in the wild, selling arrows with certs doesn't detur people from selling ones without. So to stop the sale of wild caught arrows, the us has banned them.

Asian aro's did not get endangered because of too many wild caught one's were sold to the U.S. I think it is rediculous they are not sold here in the U.S. I mean they are being very successfully farm raised! If the U.S. gov't had an ounce of sense they would have the aro's for sale with a certificate and a portion of the sale would then go to helping them get repopulated in the wild-to farms and education for the idiots over in Asia overfishing them and overfarming etc.
