I am in Waldorf, about 15 miles south on 5. Are you familiar with the area?

It is about 25 minutes from the woodrow wilson bridge.

Is the tank drilled? Is it in pretty good shape like the pics suggest? Any major scratches? Can you get me a better pic of the stand? Obviously I would not be asking these questions if I were not interested.

The tank has been drilled in a few spots, but on the top brace only (for hoses). The back wall, bottom etc are all untouched. The tanks is dirty, but in reall good shape. It was only operational for about 11 months. The only blemishes are cosmetic and disappear once filled. The only exception is one crack on the top brace. I drilled a hole out for tubing and the acrylic cracked. That was day one. I ran the tank completely full and constantly watched it but the crack never got any bigger and the support is unhindered, I.e. No bowing whatsoever. I will try to get some pics of the stand but if you search my username, I have a build thread out there with loads of pictures. I will be in the area this weekend if you want to take a look. Just let me know.

Thanks for the link to the build, PzykoSkillz.

GuyontheCouch- It looks like a very nice set-up. I am at ACA in DC through late Sunday night if not Monday morning, so I won't be able to stop by this weekend. The build thread answered a lot of my questions. If it is possible for you to post a few pics of the top of the tank, specifically anywhere where you have drilled holes and where the crack is, I would appreciate it. I need to make sure that I will have room run my hoses wherever you have cut out. I run FX5s, which look to have bigger diameter hoses than the Renas do.

My tubing is 5/8" O.D. but the holes are a little wider. Dr Fosters site is showing 1" for the fx5 (not sure if that's I.D. or O.D.) I will measure the holes that I cut and get back to you with some specs.
