The bottom one is definitely a Florida. My spotted gars look more like the darker one.

You're looking at color, not pattern. Your spotted has the exact same pattern my spotted does. Mine is just stressed in the picture from literally being added to the tank minutes before I took the picture.

The snouts are pretty much the same. Spotted is a bit longer and skinnier. But the pattern is the key part.

Florida = big spots
Spotted = small ones

Basically they are all florida unless there is proof of collection point.
