gee whiz Joey.. i just got the 180 i bought from you up and running and you're already selling the one you bought to replace it? unfortunately, with getting ready to move i have no place to keep altums or you KNOW i would be there to steal them from you.

i'd love to.. but the altums wouldn't survive the move. i'll just have to buy some imports when i get moved. maybe dedicate the 180 to altums and move everyone else to bigger and better tanks?

These Altums are not new imports so they are way past the sensitive stage of being moved. You'll suffer a greater challenge keeping new imports alive because of the fact they come in raw with parasites, stress etc..etc..The biggest one has probably been in captivity for over a year and the other 3 since like October/November of last year. Has been living in straight tap no RO or any special treatment of water aside from basic water conditioner after water change (Tetra Aquasafe) to remove chlorine and chloramines. Water change is straight out tap to tank and then I add tetra safe. They are thriving and growing. Eating actively, swimming comfortably and socializing with it's tank mates. Fins are clear and fully erect when swimming. Eyes are clear and pristine. Colors are vibrant. Perfect as can be.
I just don't have the time to maintain a tank at the moment. Only reason why I am selling the set up and fish. This is all I have left =-(
