I have been e-mailed by some of the buyers regarding the questioning of the species I sold. I have been dealing with this supplier for 3 years and I have always received Orinos all the way up to 7". Most batches have had the Gold in them, but a few have not. These were sold at 1-1.5" in size and everyone knows it is almost impossible to Correctly ID Pbass at that size unless you own the parents or have seen the parents. 3 years of getting Orinos from this supplier, why would I doubt this batch.

I am not a Pbass expert by any means, but as far as I know, Monos have three vertical bars that start at the dorsal and extend to the lateral line of the body and stop. The head is not as elongated as Orinos. You can clearly see the bars extend past the Lateral line and a very elongated head shape, not to mention the vibrant green body.

I never had any doubt that these weren't orino's, but i think there was only one member here that got the mono's...

I am open to trades, for eartheaters or a small tigrinis nothing over 6" or a nice pleco (no panaques)

or any other colorful fish that will not devour feeders.

that is interesting but i highly doubt it.. like nick said, hes been dealing with the guy for 3 years.. and theres no reason why it shouldnt be an orino, but if you guys would like i will set up another tank for my armatus and grow these out some more and sell them for what they are worth.

4 inches is still pretty young
it may be a little bit before it shows its real orino looks
