Ya eyes look sunk but they sunk when he started getting beat up. They were fine together for months and now all of a sudden it's a rampage.

Appreciate the tag Jay. Don't think he's doing so hot and my pseudas would definitely make his life hard. He needs his own tank for a few months to get 100%

Get a cheap 20-30 gallon setup man. Something cheap to temporarily separate the two before you lose an expensive fish. That way you can sell it later on when it's healthy, without a rush, and you can dictate your prices better in a seller's market.

+1

If the dominant fish REALLY wants at him, layer the divider and hold it all together with zip ties... clamp the long ends of the zip-ties to the glass with these and hold the bottom in place with rocks or bricks. $20 bucks should do it.....

Wow...that's too nice of a fish to let it slip away like that. Just make room and plop down a little cash for a small quarantine tank. Not sure how long you had him but he needs to be dewormed, fed a lot of nutritious foods, and given clean warm water. That could be a show piece but he's definitely not looking good.

Let's not get off topic. I have had him over a year and he was with the other blue eye for months no issues. The fighting just started. I will fix it but in the meantime I would like to sell him.
